The cold spell continues

LASIK

I had laser vision correction surgery (of the LASIK variety) yesterday at OHSU’s Casey Eye Institute. My vision went from 20/200 (left) and 20/400 (right) to 20/15 in both eyes in one day. It’ll take a couple of months before things stabilize, but so far I’m pretty chuffed!

My left eye looks fine — the suction cup hematoma is underneath the eyelid.

I was absolutely delighted to learn that Comedy Central has ordered 26 new episodes of Futurama. First episodes to be shown mid-2010.

The end of an era

After almost ten years and 130k miles of top-down fun I’ve finally sold my Z3. It was sad to see it drive off into the sunset with someone else behind the wheel, but at least the new owners are great people that will take good care of it.
