Good news! Our little chubbilee is feeling much better after “a series of enemas” (boo) and a few weeks of a special, wet-food diet (yay). No, J and I did not have to administer the enemas ourselves, but frankly, I’m not sure what would have been worse: giving them to her and taking the heat personally (i.e. CLAW-ing and BITE-ing), or feeling like douchebags for allowing some stranger to give them to her, instead. Poor little kitten. Anyway. The biopsies reveal absolutely no cancer, and the specialist thinks we may be able to keep her symptoms under control by switching to a hypoallergenic diet; she’s not even recommending drugs at this point.
